Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2025 Down Syndrome Research Forum.
We were delighted to welcome over 280 participants from 29 countries to this year’s research forum, including similar numbers of researchers, practitioners and parents.
We hope that you found the presentations as informative and stimulating as we did and look forward to welcoming you again next year.
As our attention turns to the 2026 forum, we would like to hear from you about what you value most about the forum and what we could do better.
With more presentations than ever, now spread over three days, we are beginning to think about how we can manage an expanding schedule while delivering best value to our participants.
Should we be more limiting in the presentations we accept? Or, is the breadth and variety of viewpoints and topics a particularly valuable feature of the event?
Given, the availability of on-demand videos, could we stretch over more shorter days for better flexibility in different time zones? Or does this make live participation more difficult? How important are opportunities for live participation? Should we allow more discussion time?
Please let us know your thoughts.
We will be sending out a short survey in the coming days. In addition, please feel free to comment and discuss the forum here our community site.
